Alma was founded in 1976 by an idea of Cav. Carlo Casini who could foresee, in the moment of greatest development of Italian economy and through his experience in the textile sector, he needs to realize carpets capable of flooring, covering and customizing the expanding exhibition spaces in a modern way

The key elements of this project were:

a) the ability to "warm up" and personalize any space  with a textile look, attractive colors and high quality.
 b) little cost.
 c) fast-supply capability.

These have become for Alma, over time, distinctive strengths points, essential to face a changing and highly demanding market  like the world of fairs and exhibitions,  which so beware of the aesthetic value, quality and timing.

From the early 70's represent a very important time of the story of Almathat it has always clung to the Casini family: the baton went over time by the hands of its founder, Cavaliere del Lavoro Carlo , to his son Stefano and  daughters Carla and Romina. Both daughters are currently at the company-run, together with the  third generation.

Alma has succeeded in gaining the confidence of its customers in Italy and abroad by creating and consolidating important human and professional relations. Providing an high quality and technically perfect product, expression of  Italian taste and  style in colors and look.

The Alma carpets are the result of a constantly updated technological innovation, but also and above all passionate and valuable contributions of all employees and collaborators. Human abilities  are essential in giving the product its distinctive elements of “made in Italy touch” that resides in the taste for beauty.

The Alma carpets were made internally in Capalle, Alma carpets "furnishes" today with its own style the most important exhibition centre worldwide and it’s used in the most main international events.
